River Cruises from Düsseldorf
The best way to experience the beauty of the Rhine
On a Rhine cruise from Düsseldorf, you will get to know some of the most beautiful and interesting areas and cities in Germany. Dusseldorf, Cologne and Frankfurt are among the most vibrant metropolises in Europe and captivate with a mixture of historic and modern architecture as well as a world-renowned art and culture scene. When visiting Koblenz, Mainz, Speyer and Strasbourg, you will immerse yourself in the more than 2,000-year history of the cities on the Rhine. With Speyer Cathedral, Strasbourg Cathedral and Ehrenbreitstein Fortress near Koblenz, you will visit three of Europe's most impressive historic buildings. But a river cruise from Düsseldorf can also take you downriver to the Netherlands and Belgium. Amsterdam, Antwerp and Brussels are true tourist magnets with their beautifully preserved city centers. But modern Rotterdam with its huge port is also worth a visit. And smaller cities like Arnhem and Nijmegen score with their typical Dutch charm.

Description and Info of River Cruises
from Düsseldorf
If you are passionate about wine, fireworks and tradition, then the "Rhine in Flames" voyage is the perfect vacation for you. An adventurous start in Düsseldorf via Bonn to Koblenz, where modernity and tradition collide with a bang. These impressions can then be soaked up on board. But there are also more leisurely ports of call. In Rüdesheim, for example, you can experience breathtaking views before the highlight of the trip arrives. The trip ends with the "Rhine in Flames" spectacle.

Journey with one of our newest and most modern ships, the VIVA ONE, to one of the most beautiful cities in France: Strasbourg. A city that has rightly been declared a World Heritage Site by UNSECO due to its fantastically preserved medieval streets and buildings and probably the most beautiful market square in Europe.
Equally important as beautiful are the towns along the Rhine, which you will pass on the way: From the "longest counter in the world" in Düsseldorf, you will reach medieval Mainz via Boppard, then Mannheim with its famous city palace and finally Speyer, where the historic sandstone cathedral with its imperial hall, opened only a few years ago, is waiting to be discovered by you. Back to Düsseldorf you travel via Rüdesheim - the home of Riesling - and Koblenz, where you should definitely plan a historical city stroll. As the name suggests: a real journey of discovery, which has everything to offer culturally and historically.

The 7-night cruise "Fairytale Moselle" is a combined Rhine and Moselle cruise. It starts in vibrant Düsseldorf, which is not only a paradise for beer drinkers with its Altbier pubs, but also a hotspot of the German art scene with its excellent museum landscape. And the fact that Düsseldorf is a great place to shop is widely known anyway. Across the Rhine, we first head to Koblenz, where the Moselle section of this cruise begins. With Traben-Trarbach and Bernkastel you can get to know two of the most idyllic places on the banks of the Moselle. Afterwards, the cruise takes you to Trier, the oldest city in Germany. Here, the history of the Romans follows you at every turn. Trier's landmark is the excellently preserved Roman city gate Porta Nigra.
After that, you'll head back downstream along the Moselle, and on your way back to the Rhine, you'll still have the opportunity to visit the imposing Imperial Castle of Cochem. On the Rhine section of this cruise, you'll make a stop in the wine town of Rüdesheim before continuing on to Linz am Rhein. Because of its many colorful houses, this small town is also known as the "Colorful Town on the Rhine." Before returning to Düsseldorf, you will visit Bonn, the former federal capital. The university town with its House of History is worth a visit, especially for people interested in history.

Two Dutch and two Belgian metropolises - and in between two gems that can keep up culturally and historically at least as well when it comes to experiencing special moments: Amsterdam, Rotterdam and in between Hoorn, as well as Brussels and Antwerp, followed by Nijmegen. The name of our 7-night tour "Best of Holland & Belgium" is not an exaggeration.
While with Amsterdam and Rotterdam two major Dutch cities are waiting to be discovered by you, in Hoorn in the province of North Holland you will come across perhaps the most beautiful port in the Netherlands, whose historical uniqueness is not only due to the Hoofdtoren, a tower from the 16th century. In the Belgian city of Antwerp, in addition to the historic city center, you will be particularly captivated by the lively cultural scene, while in Brussels you can look forward to modern architecture and, above all, world-famous cuisine.
